TCA Peel

TCA peel is one of the most common medical grade chemical peel.  It greatly reduces discoloration, fine lines and wrinkles.

Stronger than most peels, trichloroacetic acid helps smooth the surface of the skin, refine pores and reduce fine lines through the stimulation of reproductive collagen. The peel process is a deep skin exfoliation that also helps to reduce acne.

With a TCA peel, healed skin will be able to produce pigment as always and it will not bleach the skin. However, TCA-peel patients are advised to avoid sun exposure for several months after treatment to protect the newly formed layers of skin.

Two or more TCA peels may be needed to obtain the desired result and those may be spaced out over several months. Mild TCA peels may be repeated as often as every month. Protecting skin from the sun with sunscreens is important following a TCA peel.
